Creating Output Images

Because Bibble 5 is non-destructive, the adjustments made to images within Bibble 5 must be written out to a new image file before these adjustments can be seen in any other application.  The process of creating output images is quick and easy, while at the same time powerful and very configurable.

There are two main ways to create output images:

Single Image Output - saves the currently selected Version with the current image adjustments.  You must have an image selected to use this method, and it will prompt you for the image format and destination folder.
Batch Output - saves one or many Versions to a folder in a pre-defined manner.  You can configure the Batches with your favorite settings to allow you to process many images very quickly, without having to choose a folder, image format, rename format, and other settings each time you save Versions.  This is often easier and faster to use that Single Image Output, even when only saving a single image.

There are two Batch Output types that create different types of output files.  A single Batch can include multiple output types, allowing you to optimize your workflow and speed you through your post-production work.  The Output types are:

Image Output

Image Output creates a new image file in the format you select, applying a set of Image Adjustments, and resizing the image to a configurable size.  It will save the image in a pre-defined folder, or it can create new folders using advanced Renaming Formats, or it can ask you where you want it to save the images each time you create an Output Image.

Copy Output

The Copy Output will copy the source files (Master File and all associated sidecar files) to a customizable output folder, and can optionally import the copied files into a Bibble 5 Catalog once the files are copied.  This is ideal for copying images off a memory card onto your computer in a specific location, while importing them into a Catalog by Referenced Locations.

Web Gallery Output

The Web Gallery Output creates image and HTML files that allow you to easily create a web gallery of your images.  Just upload all the files created by the Web Gallery Output to your web hosting provider to share you gallery on the web.
